ATRIDOX Treatment With Dental Implants or Failing ImplantsQuestion
Can ATRIDOX be used around dental implants or in treating failing implants?Answer
According to the prescribing information, ATRIDOX® has not been clinically tested for use in the regeneration of alveolar bone, either in preparation for or in conjunction with the placement of dental implants or in the treatment of failing implants. However, this precaution does not preclude the use of ATRIDOX treatment in this patient population, particularly when, in the judgment of the dental professional, a local application of an antimicrobial is necessary. | |
